That's some FRESH noodles
Got this lovely dish from the Noodle Bowl, which is apparently one of the best restaurants in Beijing (according to trip advisor). Very simple, very fresh. And for such a fantastic place, my dinner was about 6 bucks. Pretty good if I do say so myself! It was very neat watching him pull the noodles. What was also cool about this place is the atmosphere. It was in this courtyard tucked in between sky scrapers, shaded by trees. You could absolutely forget you we're in the middle of a massive city in this place, since it was so quiet and serene.
Beijing is a late night city, happy hour at the bars goes until 9pm. Every night of the week on the restaurant/bar areas there's tons of people eating, drinking, socializing. Or maybe it just seems that way since there's just so many people?! Something to think about.
Well this is getting entirely too philosophical. So I leave you with this:
(Hopefully its not too small to see.. But he's just chillin on the handlebars of the bike. Watching the world go by)
You're going to eat your way around Beijing, aren't you?!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that getting around is easy enough and that you already have expat friends to go out with!
